Product information "TOGU Dynair ball cushion XL with actisan"
The Original Dynair Senso Ball Cushion XL - made in Germany - is an air-filled and dynamic training device. One side with round, soft Senso nubs, one side with a velvety-smooth surface. It is an uncomplicated and space-saving alternative to the large ball and is used as a base for back and fitness training while sitting, standing or lying down. The product is latex-free and is manufactured by TOGU, the inventor of the ball cushion, at its own site in Prien am Chiemsee (Germany). TOGU offers a 30-year manufacturer's guarantee for the Dynair Ball Cushion XL.
What are the benefits of using it?
A healthy, strong back and a stable centre of the body. The back is effectively and simply relieved and trained at the same time. The intervertebral discs are gently kept in motion and the muscles of the spine are trained. The upright posture can be optimised. In addition, so-called sensorimotor training (interaction between the nervous and muscular systems) has the following effects: Improvement of the nervous system, concentration and coordination, joint stability and movement sequences in general.
How does it work?
The air filling, the shape and the special high-quality material enable dynamic sitting and training: minimal movements are constantly and immediately transferred to the body. As a result, the deeper back muscles and the sensorimotor system are trained involuntarily. In contrast to sitting on rigid surfaces, these deeper muscles, which are so important for the stability of the body, are also trained. It can also be used anywhere - at home, in the office or when travelling - and allows you to train without spending any additional time.
Tip:
"The XL ball cushion is really perfect as I don't have room for a large ball. The first time you use it, you just feel this wobbly thing underneath you. But after a short time you get used to the new feeling and realise: something is happening to my body! I'm sitting up straighter, I'm always levelling out a bit and I can feel my back muscles."
"As an enthusiastic gymnastics teacher, I have specialised in the fascinating topic of back health and have noticed in my many years of teaching experience that many participants are only really motivated to become active on a regular basis when they already have back pain.
The health of our back depends on a complex interplay between the active and passive musculoskeletal system, which is closely connected to our brain. Every movement we make has an impact on our physical and mental development. For example, if we lose our balance, this requires increased stabilisation to prevent us from tipping over.
Targeted balance training can help to promote the harmonious interaction of our sensory and motor systems. It is important that the training is motivating and varied. Great aids such as the TOGU Brasil, the Dynair ball cushion or the Redondo ball can be used to bring additional fun and variety to training."
